Apple Store Memorials
Tan from Malaysia sends in this great photo of a memorial there at an Apple Authorized Reseller.  It definitely counts, Tan, and thank you so much for sending it.  Definitely our first submission from Malaysia!

Laura sent in the first two of these photos taken at the San Francisco Apple Store.  Amazing. As she points out, the outpouring of love has almost completely covered the store windows.  The last photo was posted on Twitter by @garywhitta, a talented screen writer and the first person to re-tweet the link to this blog on Thursday.  Thanks for helping get the word out, Gary, and sharing that note.  And of course thank you Laura for the other great pictures here.

Hannah sends in this photo of the Apple Store in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Thanks so much for submitting this, Hannah.

Mandy L. sends in more great photos from the Apple Store in Hong Kong.  Amazing this store just opened a few weeks ago, and has had such a great turnout.  Thanks so much for sharing this, Mandy.

We already had a picture sent in of this memorial, and now we’ve heard from its creator (by proxy).  Brianna sends in another picture of this great piece of art that was created by her best friend, Rex.  You can go see this at the Legacy Village Mall in Beachwood, Ohio. This is definitely one of my favorites.  Brianna is an ex Apple employee, and sent in the photo and this information along with the following note:
Thanks, Steve, for giving me amazing gadgets to play with and for giving me even better friends to experience life with.
Thanks very much for this, Brianna.

Cyndi O. sends in these great shots from the Biltmore Apple Store in Phoenix, AZ.  I like the first shot, I preordered my fiancé a white iPhone 4S(teve) this morning :-)

Thanks, Cyndi.

You are a Featured Section in Flipboard!

Hopefully all those of you with iPads know about and use the amazing app Flipboard.  It’s probably my favorite iOS app ever, turning your iPad into a social, personal magazine experience.  It makes reading blogs, your Facebook wall, your Twitter feed, and more into an exceptionally well laid out, beautiful, and laid back experience.  I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Well, I couldn’t until today anyway, because they have turned this humble blog, started only yesterday, into its very own featured section.  If you have an iPad, go get Flipboard and check out the featured sections immediately.  You can flip through all the entries on this blog, and be sure to also check out the other sections they’ve featured in remembrance of Steve Jobs.

You all have created such an amazing thing, and now thanks to Flipboard millions of people will be able to see it.

Send your thanks to @Flipboard for featuring us, and enjoy the exposure.  You have earned it.  This has become so much more than I could have imagined when I created it.

My deepest and sincerest thanks to you all.
